Successful new ventures need to resolve an enduring paradox. Charting a creative solution that writes its unique, unprecedented rules confers maximum competitive leverage. But effective execution to achieve that is imperative, for which there is no substitute for applicable experience.

Our speaker through his distinctive career experiences has excelled at bridging that gap between strategy, resources, and implementation across a variety of technologically flavored, early stage enterprises. He will speak with authority both on what makes an attractive scalable investment and how to manage daily operational issues to navigate the path to rapid growth and long term profitability.

Presentation with opening networking: August 12, 2019, 6:15-9:00 P.M.

Sponsor: Chicago Booth Entrepreneurial Roundtable, West Suburban Chapter

Moderator: Greg Gocek

Speakers: Imran Ahmad, Principal OCA Ventures https://www.ocaventures.com/

And Chief Operating Officer, Health iPASS https://healthipass.com/

Imran has over a decade’s experience financing, investing, founding and managing early stage tech and middle market companies. Prior to his current financial role as a venture capitalist, he worked in analytical and investment capacities at PayPal Mobile, JMH Capital and William Blair.
